Just watched the latest ALNST episode ('Karma') and idk if my heart can take it aaaa, like seriously VIVINOS is my opp why is it so sadddge??? At least Till is alive...
SO i am a major alnst fan, but i am way too stupid to analyse every second of each video like some people can. For me, Karma was so beautiful but also kind of abstract since it seemed like everything that had happened in that day just crashed and burned (literally) and we got to see just how affected Mizi was by Sua's death and her, i suppose, survivor's guilt. Also, i feel so heartbroken for Luka despite everything he's done ;cc he's just stuck in that cycle of suffering and he doesn't even have the hope that Hyuna is alive to see him through... And everyone made it out (one way or another) apart from himmmm aaaa im gonna cry
Anyways, this episode seemed like it was pretty final, but i'm still holding out hope for more (delulu is the solulu!!) especially since Till rocked up in that cool ass motorcycle at the end and that Mizi-Ivan hybrid child was giving me major main character vibes~

aaa idk how to write reviews but i binged this anime like a week ago and i thought it was rlly good! I'd probably rate it 4.3 out of 5 stars if I had to put a number to it.
For me, all i'm really looking for in a magical girl anime is pretty dresses and transformations which magilumiere definitely had! Personally i loved seeing the different variations of magical girl outfits and themes between the companies (shout out to Akane my fave) and though i haven't read the manga i hope that there will be way more in a future season!!
The whole idea of engineers specifically designing all the outfits and magic and stuff to be tailored to the magical girls also stuck out to me and reminded me of like voltron? or ben10? or something like that idk but it's fun!
Another thing I loved about this anime was the lack of fanservice (bare minimum ik) and the fact that all of the characters are not in like highschool or something since it felt like they actually wanted to be there and weren't pressured by some obligation or something. Also, at least for me, i really liked the workplace dynamics of the anime, similar vibe to 'Aggretsuko' i'd say (for lack of better reference). Even though some of the fashion choices were questionable (dw i still love u Kouji), i still enjoed the fact that even the non-magical-girl characters were distinguishable for the most part and each seemed to have their own thing going on!
anyways i just wanted to share my thoughts on this anime and it's my website so i can put whatever dogshit i want here lol. go watch magilumiere, i think its good.
